Pretty Pink Pouts

This is the time of the year I start going crazy for freshness.  Everything's dead & dirty, we're all bundled up in our black winter survival gear (which at this point could use some serious dry cleaning)....oh how I'm craving light, ethereal loveliness!  Visions of fresh & feminine spring outfits (with pink Chanel bags ;) are dancing in my head...

My sister must have been reading my mind because a little surprise from Miami arrived in the mail the other day....a tube of Chanel's "Crazy Fuchsia" lip gloss...damn straight, Chanel knows I'm going crazy... 

All signs are pointing to the spring trend of fuchsia pink pouts.  Fuchsia fell out of favor for a while & felt very 80's/90's cheesy but it is feeling fresh & fun again.  It's an inexpensive & instant face brightener & I'm loving it....

The always stunning Charlize...(a side note: don't you get a little kick when you find out someone has the same birthday as you?  Until a few years ago I only knew of two other people who have the same birthday as me, great people but both dudes.  So I was delighted to find out that Ms. Theron & I share the same birthday...of course that made me like her even more ;)...

Unlike these fresh & lovely ladies, unfortunately I'm still bundled up in my fleece-lined black hoodie...it's pretty much just an extension of my body from December to March.  Well, at least I have my pretty pink pout on :)...
