Closed for the Summer

Can I just go the way of a European fabric mill & close for the summer? Typing that out of office notification would be glorious. I do get a little pang of envy when I go to place a client order & am told to add 4-8 weeks to the delivery time because Europe basically closes down for the summer. How civilized.

I imagine their summers are something like this…

Blonde, bronze & bosomy on the beaches of St. Tropez. If I could bottle that I’d be a very rich girl.

I spotted this Annabel Ingall metallic tote in a Brooklyn boutique the other day...metallic can be tricky to get just right & this is one of the best versions I've ever seen (it even has gold feet!)...
